Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We tried banana bread iced latte and it was really yummy. We got two and paid $15.12. If you are shopping in the center of Philly you have to stop by and try their coffee. We didn’t try the food maybe another time.

The coffee shop worker went out of his way this morning to help me with an exceptional choice. Great customer service and delicious drinks. Has so many different and unique trinkets along with plants as well! People mentioned it’s overpriced sometimes but it’s kind of a get what you pay for deal. Will return!

The food is excellent—we especially loved the banana black sesame toast. Thank you to the staff member who recommended it. It's definitely worth trying. Unfortunately, our experience was affected by one issue. A staff member told us twice (even after we double-checked) that there was no Wi-Fi or that it wasn't working. However, after asking another staff member, we discovered that the Wi-Fi was available and worked perfectly. We were disappointed by the incorrect information we were given. If the management sees this review, we would appreciate an explanation as to why this happened, along with an apology. Thank you.

The Ground Rittenhouse is such an adorable stop in Philly, the interior is so whimsical and bright, and there’s greenery everywhere! The menu is very unique and they are very open to creating the drink that you’re craving. On a Saturday afternoon, there wasn’t much seating without a wait time so we opted for take-out. I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk, and they were happy to add rose syrup for me instead of simple syrup! The wait was pretty quick and the layering of the drink was wonderful, and I was happy with the matcha quality at first glance. The rose was not too sweet, and the matcha flavor stood out perfectly. You will pay a little more at The Ground for the extra things you add, but you’ll get a great quality drink!

This spot is a beautiful gem in Rittenhouse Square. As you enter, you are met with such peaceful and thoughtful decor and plants 🪴. I had the Banana Bread Matcha and an Almond Croissant. Both were absolutely delicious! The seating was a little tight in the back (I could be a smidge claustrophobic). But I found a comfy chair close to the entrance - it was perfect for me. The staff was pleasant and kept up with the pace and the crowd. I will absolutely come back to this establishment and might purchase a plant on the way out.
